WHAT IS COUNSELLING? Counseling is a collaborative effort between the counselor and client. Professional counselors help clients identify goals and potential solutions to problems which cause emotional turmoil; seek to improve communication and coping skills; strengthen self-esteem; and promote behavior change and optimal mental health. Ideally, counseling is terminated when the problem that you pursued counseling for becomes more manageable or is resolved. However, some insurance companies and managed care plans may limit the number of sessions for which they pay. Here2SupportYou is not accepting insurance coverage for the time being.

WHAT IS COACHING? The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential” Coaching tends to be performance driven, short term, performance driven, with specific and measurable goals.  ​ In a couching session you will be asked questions that will provoke thought in a growth-oriented direction. It will help you develop pathways to new ways of being.

WHAT IS MINDFULNESS?  “Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally,” says Jon Kabat-Zinn. “And then I sometimes add, in the service of self-understanding and wisdom.”   Mindfulness lights up parts of our brains that aren’t normally activated when we’re mindlessly running on autopilot. So mindfulness exercises are an effective way to reduce stress, reduce emotional reactivity, reduce rumination, boosts working memory, improve concentration, improve cognitive flexibility, and enhance relationship satisfaction.   All mindfulness exercises offered by out therapists are secular in nature.

HOW DO I BOOK, PAY, RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT? Booking can made on web-page:  https://www.here2supportyou.com/book-online ​ Booking can be made between 1-21 days before the session. Payment must be made online at the time of making appointment. For rescheduling, you need to i. book a new appointment using the above webpage and ii. send an email to h2su.info@gmail.com to request for cancellation for your previous appointment.  Rescheduling and cancellation can only be made more than 24 hours in advance of the session. An administrative fee of $20 will be charged for each rescheduling or cancellation. Payment will not be refunded if it is cancelled in 24 hours or less in advance.   If you are unable to show up within 20 minutes from the beginning of the session, the session will be considered cancelled without refund.  Refund can only be returned through Paypal or Singapore Bank accounts participating in Fast And Secure Transfers (FAST). Refund will be processed and returned within one week.
